Student-Refugee Mentor Initiative
The aim behind the Student-Refugee Mentor Initiative, or SRMI for short, is to help refugees, newcomers, and non-native English speakers improve their English proficiency. Volunteers regularly meet with English learners over Zoom for 2-3 hours each week. Both mentors and mentees must be at least 18 years of age. For questions, contact us at programs.h4h@gmail.com

Mentors
Do you want to give back to our communities? Make impacts in populations that need a helping hand? SRMI volunteers come from across nearly every state. Mentors must be at least 18 years old and commit to 2-3 hours per week for at least an academic semester.
